The Club’s open promotions are sponsored by SOLIDROCK CYCLES and AA MOTORS, both of whom have a lengthy, close and active relationship with the Club. Their support, both financially and in services, is invaluable, enabling us to develop the events in ways which would otherwise be impossible.
‘Solid Rock Cycles is a family-run business that has been retailing new bicycles & clothing since 2002 in Glasgow. We also have a full equipped workshop where we offer servicing & repairs. Our fully trained mechanics have over 40 years experience between them & there isn’t much they haven’t seen before’.
‘Steven and David are very keen cyclists and are members of the Glasgow Nightingale Cycling Club and have taken part in races and events all over Europe. The boys are out as often as possible to keep up to race fitness and also to relax after a hard weeks work at their garage, AA Motors’
The Club also has a close relationship with WHEELCRAFT.
‘If Carlsberg made bicycle shops… Big Al’s would certainly be up there! Alisdair Gow has been running Wheelcraft and building world-famous wheels/wheelsets for longer than he cares to remember, but without him the wheels of cyclists from all around the world would be, well, less round’
