While the core of the club revolves around mid-week and weekend club rides, we have members actively involved in road racing, TT, track, CX, and MTB.We have regular rides throughout the week, most beginning in Torrance or Strathblane to the north of Glasgow.
Whether you are interested in a social cafe ride, a mid-week chaingang, or a hilly weekend training ride, we’re sure to have a ride that suits you!
Our club is affiliated with British Cycling, Scottish Cycling and CTT.
Established in 1925, Glasgow Nightingale is one of the oldest cycling clubs in Scotland. We have a rich heritage of riders and events, with one of the most iconic jerseys in Scottish cycling.
Every year we host several competitive events organised under Scottish Cycling and CTT rules:
– Lake of Menteith APR
– Sam Robinson Memorial RR
– Scottish CTT 10 mile TT
We also host several club confined events throughout the season including the infamous Crow Road Hill Climb!
We host regular ‘off the bike’ events throughout the year, culminating in our annual end of season prize-giving.
